Ultimate Money Skills: College FundingUltimate Money Skills: College Funding, formerly Making College Financial Planning Count, provides parents of high school students with the overview they need to begin developing a college financing plan for their student.

This FREE program is offered from September through April. A full-color workbook is provided for parents and students to use to follow along during the presentation and to take with them as a future resource.

During this one-hour program, parents will gain an understanding of how the college financing process works, including...

  • How to plan for and manage college costs.
  • Types of financial aid that are available.
  • An introduction to the FAFSA, its availability and deadline dates.
  • Ideas about where to look for additional information on scholarships and grants.
  • Avoiding scholarship scams.
