Winning Characteristics Scholarship - 2008-2009 Recipients
The students listed below are the recipients of the Making It Count “Winning
Characteristics” Scholarship for the 2008-2009 school year. Each student viewed
a Making College & Career Count presentation at their high school and then wrote
an essay demonstrating that they have developed at least three of the seven
Winning Characteristics while in high school.
The Winning Characteristics, which are identified and discussed in the
presentation, include: communication skills, organizational skills, leadership,
logic, effort, group skills and entrepreneurship.
For her outstanding demonstration of the Making College & Career Count “Winning Characteristics,” this 2009 grad was awarded a $5,000 “Winning Characteristics” National Scholarship.
